March 2022 activities in Guyana to commemorate the lives of Cheddi & Janet Jagan

There was a photographic exhibitions at the National Library in Georgetown and New Amsterdam during the month of March.

Region Two PPP hosted a wreath laying ceremony as part of the commemorations marking the 25th death anniversary of former president and party founder Dr Cheddi Jagan.

On March 10th there was an Afternoon of Reflection on the Life and Work of Dr. Cheddi Jagan at Red House at 4.30pm.

On March 22, 2022 there was a Celebration in Prose and Poetry for Dr. Jagan at Red House, (watch live recording) Georgetown. and also a radio tribute - Reflections of Dr. Cheddi Jagan at 5pm.

There was a Zoom public meeting on - The Life and Legacy of Former President Janet Jagan of Guyana - on Sunday, March 13, 2022 (3.00 p.m. Guyana time) hosted by the Indo-Caribbean Cultural Centre (ICC) and the Ameena Gafoor Institute (AGI).

The Women's Progressive Organisation organised a Wreath Laying and Memorial Service for Mrs. Jagan on Sunday March 27th, 2022at Babu John.

The Cheddi Jagan Research Centre hosted A Reflection on the Life & Work of Mrs. Janet Jagan on Monday March 28th, 2022, 4.30pm at Red House.
